During the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 MMORPG applications in Russia showcased interesting trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here is a closer look at the performance of these apps.
Perfect World Mobile: Начало from INFIPLAY LIMITED saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $106K in mid-September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 16.5K at the end of June and tapering off to approximately 7.8K by the end of September. Active users showed a downward trend, starting at 44.1K and ending at 31.7K.
Guardians of Cloudia, published by NEOCRAFT LIMITED, experienced a steady rise in weekly revenue, reaching around $38.6K in mid-September. Weekly downloads varied, with a high of 28.8K in mid-August and a low of 7.3K in late July. Active users peaked at 56.4K in mid-August before settling at 36.5K by the end of the quarter.
Another title from NEOCRAFT LIMITED, Tales of Wind, showed a modest revenue peak at around $31.5K in mid-July. However, weekly downloads remained low, peaking at 1.5K at the end of June. Active users saw a decline, starting at 14K and ending at 6.2K.
Black Desert Mobile by Pearl Abyss Corp. maintained a steady weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $23.3K in early July. Weekly downloads fluctuated from a high of 7.2K at the end of June to a low of 2.9K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 44.9K and closing the quarter at 30.7K.
Lastly, Lineage 2: Revolution from Netmarble Corporation saw its highest weekly revenue at around $25.2K in late July. Weekly downloads varied slightly, peaking at 1.5K in mid-September. Active users remained consistent, hovering around the 2.9K mark for most of the quarter.
