During the third quarter of 2021, the top 5 music and audio apps in Venezuela experienced varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at how each app fared:
Deezer: Music & Podcast Player saw a relatively stable revenue stream throughout the quarter, peaking at around $156 in the week of August 23. Weekly downloads showed a slight decline from 1.8K in late July to 1.4K by the end of September. Meanwhile, weekly active users hovered consistently around 62K, peaking at nearly 65K in late August.
StarMaker: Sing Karaoke Songs experienced a notable spike in revenue, reaching $186 in mid-September. Downloads fluctuated significantly, with a high of 28.8K in late June dropping to around 12K by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 87.6K and ending the quarter at roughly 65K.
Smule: Karaoke, Sing & Record showed relatively low and steady revenue, with minor peaks around $42 in early July. Downloads were modest, decreasing from approximately 500 in late June to 179 by the end of September. Active users also saw a decline from 4.8K to about 2.9K over the quarter.
Piano - music & songs games maintained a steady revenue around $15-$25 throughout the quarter. Although the app had minimal downloads, active users remained stable, starting at 1.6K in late June and slightly dropping to 1.3K by the end of September.
TuneIn Radio: Music & Sports displayed a consistent revenue pattern with occasional peaks, such as $38 in mid-September. Downloads experienced a downward trend, starting at 319 in early July and ending at 157 by the end of September. Active users showed small fluctuations, beginning at 3K and closing the quarter at approximately 2.6K.
