The third quarter of 2021 saw a variety of trends in the performance of the top personal finance budgeting and planning apps in Mexico. Here, we examine the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for Profuturo Móvil, Banregio, Money manager, expense tracker, BBVA Plan, and Expense.
Profuturo Móvil had notable fluctuations in its metrics throughout Q3 2021. Weekly downloads peaked at approximately 14K in late August, while the lowest point was around 4.8K in mid-September. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, peaking at around 92K in late August and dipping to approximately 67K by mid-September.
Banregio experienced a steady performance. Weekly downloads hovered around the 2K-3K range, with a peak of nearly 3.9K in late July. The weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 55K throughout the quarter.
Money manager, expense tracker showed consistent weekly revenue, maintaining figures around $130-$160. Weekly downloads varied from approximately 1.4K to 2.2K, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users saw a gradual rise, reaching about 14.5K by the end of September.
BBVA Plan had a stable download rate, ranging from around 1.1K to 1.5K weekly. Weekly active users fluctuated between 31K and 35K, with a peak of approximately 35.5K in mid-September.
Expense maintained a steady performance in weekly downloads, averaging around 1.2K to 1.7K. The weekly active users showed minor fluctuations, averaging around 18K throughout the quarter.
