Throughout the fourth quarter of 2021, leading air travel apps on the Android platform in France exhibited diverse performance trends. According to Sensor Tower data, these insights provide a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top 5 apps in this category.
Air France - Book a flight saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, peaking at 8.9K in early November and dropping to around 5.4K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at approximately 27K and closing the year at 24.5K.
Ryanair experienced a decline in weekly downloads from 7.8K in early October to around 3.6K by mid-December, with a slight rebound to nearly 5K at the end of the quarter. Active users peaked at 44.2K in mid-October and ended the quarter at 36.4K.
easyJet: Travel App maintained relatively stable weekly downloads, ranging from 4.1K to 7K. Active users showed a slight decline from 48.1K at the beginning of the quarter to 43.2K by the end of December.
Transavia had a consistent downward trend in weekly downloads, starting at 5.3K in late September and dropping to about 3.3K by the end of December. Active users also declined from 14.9K to 12.1K over the same period.
Finally, Flightradar24 Flight Tracker stood out with significant revenue, peaking at $2K at the end of September and maintaining between $1K and $1.7K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads showed a notable increase from 3.6K in late September to over 5.1K by the end of December, while active users varied, peaking at 25.2K in mid-October and ending the quarter at 21.5K.
