The fourth quarter of 2021 saw varying trends for the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Estonia. Here's a detailed look at the performance of the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Bolt: Request a Ride had a fluctuating download trend throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads started at around 984 and peaked at 1052 in early October, then gradually declined, ending the year at approximately 596 downloads per week.
Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery experienced a steady increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter. Starting at 288 downloads per week, it saw a significant rise, reaching about 573 downloads in early December and maintaining a high download rate of approximately 568 in the last week of December.
Ola: Book Cab, Auto, Bike Taxi showed a mixed download trend. The app began the quarter with 341 weekly downloads, experienced a dip mid-quarter, and then saw a spike to 403 downloads in the week of December 20, before dropping to 194 in the final week of the year.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads averaged between 120 and 242, with the highest peak occurring in early November at 242 downloads.
Rapido: Bike-Taxi, Auto & Cabs experienced moderate download activity. Starting at 163 downloads per week, the app saw fluctuations, including a peak of 274 downloads in the week of December 20, before ending the quarter with 105 downloads per week.
