The fourth quarter of 2021 saw interesting trends for the top dinosaur-themed games on the Android platform in Oceania. Here, we break down the performance of the top 5 apps: Hyper Evolution, Jurassic World Alive, Jurassic World™: The Game, Dinosaur Rampage, and Pinkfong Dino World: Kids Game.
Hyper Evolution by SayGames Ltd experienced a decrease in weekly downloads, starting from 18.2K in mid-October and dropping to 1.8K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar declining trend, peaking at 20K in October before falling to around 9K in December. Revenue was negligible until late December, where it saw a minor increase, reaching $13.
Jurassic World Alive from Jam City, Inc. had a mixed quarter. Weekly revenue fluctuated between $3K and $8K, showing a slight increase towards the end of December with a peak of $5K. Downloads remained relatively steady, hovering around 1.4K to 1.7K per week. Weekly active users also remained stable, with minor fluctuations, averaging around 3K.
Jurassic World™: The Game, another title from Jam City, Inc., saw stable revenue throughout the quarter, ranging from $2.4K to $3.5K. Downloads were relatively low, with weekly figures fluctuating between 500 and 1.3K. Active users showed a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at around 4.5K in late December.
Dinosaur Rampage by Geisha Tokyo, Inc. experienced modest revenue, peaking at $18 in the last week of December. Downloads showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, reaching 1.2K in mid-December. Active users remained fairly consistent, averaging around 15K throughout the quarter.
Pinkfong Dino World: Kids Game by The Pinkfong Company saw steady weekly revenue, generally between $120 and $250. Downloads were stable, ranging from 450 to 940 per week. Active users showed a gradual increase, peaking at 1.2K in the last week of December.
