In the fourth quarter of 2021, several io games on the Android platform in New Zealand showed notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top 5 io games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Little Big Snake from Shockwave LLC saw its weekly revenue peak at $123 in early November, before stabilizing around $50-$80 towards the end of December. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 66 and 120, while weekly active users ranged from 332 to 392, showing a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.
Snake Rivals - Fun Snake Game by Supersolid experienced a revenue peak at $159 at the start of November, but generally remained between $20 and $100 for the rest of the quarter. Download numbers were relatively stable, hovering around 60-89 per week. Active users saw a slight decline from 1.4K to 1.2K throughout the quarter.
Worms Zone .io - Hungry Snake from CASUAL AZUR GAMES had consistent weekly downloads, peaking at 832 in the last week of December. Revenue varied, with a notable spike to $119 in mid-December. Weekly active users started at 7.4K and dropped to 5.5K by early December, before climbing back up to 6.1K by the end of the quarter.
Mitosis: The Game by Freakinware Studios Limited had a varied revenue pattern, with a peak of $129 in early December. However, there were no download or active user data available for this period.
Agar.io by Miniclip.com showed a steady increase in both downloads and active users towards the end of the quarter. Weekly downloads peaked at 244 in early December, while revenue saw a high of $59 in late November. Active users increased from 373 in late November to 487 by early December.
