The fourth quarter of 2021 saw notable performance trends among the top 5 photography apps on the Android platform in Saudi Arabia. Here’s a detailed look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these apps.
Picsart: AI Photo Video Editor experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $5.9K in mid-October before gradually declining to around $4.2K by the end of December. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 25K at the beginning of October, reaching a low of 14.2K towards the end of November, and finishing the year at 19K. Meanwhile, weekly active users saw a slight decline from 244.5K to 237.2K throughout the quarter, with a noticeable dip in November.
Video Editor & Maker - InShot saw its weekly revenue peak at $943 in the last week of December, following a consistent performance around the $500-$700 range for most of the quarter. The app’s weekly downloads remained relatively stable, starting at 22.1K at the end of September and ending the year at 18.1K. Weekly active users showed a positive trend, increasing from 264.6K to 286.9K by the end of December.
TIME WARP SCAN: Face Scanner had a dramatic spike in downloads at the beginning of October, reaching 30.1K, but this number decreased to 5.2K by the end of December. Revenue was modest, peaking at $266 in late October before tapering off to $30 in the last week of December. Active users also saw a significant drop, starting at 66.5K at the end of September and falling to 15.9K by the end of December.
Photograph Art Lab, despite being a newer entrant, garnered significant interest with a peak of 66.7K downloads in early November. However, downloads dwindled to 789 by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 56.9K in early November and decreasing to 37.6K by the end of December.
Remini - AI Photo Enhancer showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 16.6K in early December. Revenue remained relatively steady, ranging from $232 to $426 during the quarter. Active users saw a steady rise from 19.1K at the end of September to 40.5K by early December, before slightly declining to 34K at the end of the year.
