The fourth quarter of 2021 saw varied performances among the top city building games on iOS in Sweden. Here’s a closer look at the weekly trends for the top 5 games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Beep beep Alfie Atkins - Kids by Gro Play had a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $308 in the first week of October. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 963 in late September and eventually declining to 594 by the end of December.
Craftheim - 3D Idle Lumberjack from AI Games FZ saw an initial high in downloads with 1.5K in late September, but this number steadily decreased, reaching 328 by the last week of December. Active users followed a similar downward trend, starting at 1.9K and ending the quarter at 555.
Merge Mayor by Starberry Games GmbH had a notable mid-quarter peak in active users, reaching 3.7K in mid-November. Revenue saw a high of $345 in mid-October, while downloads peaked at 969 in early October but dropped to 148 by the end of December.
SimCity BuildIt from Electronic Arts maintained strong revenue throughout the quarter, with a peak of $3.3K in the final week of December. Downloads were highest at 820 in early November, and active users peaked at 6.6K during the same period.
Life of King: Idle World Sim by PIXIO LIMITED had a spike in downloads in late October with 1.1K but saw a significant decline to 92 by the end of December. Revenue was highest at $115 in late October. Active users also saw a peak of 1.2K in late October but decreased to 147 by the end of the quarter.
