In Q4 2021, the top five finance apps on iOS in Sweden were Swish payments, Swedbank private, Avanza, Qliro, and PayPal - Pay, Send, Save. Below is a detailed analysis of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Swish payments showed fluctuating weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 18.6K in mid-October and ending the year with around 15.6K downloads in the last week of December. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from 882K at the start of the quarter to 823K by the end.

Swedbank private maintained steady weekly downloads with minor fluctuations, ultimately increasing from 5.5K at the start of the quarter to 6.2K in the final week of December. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting at 292K and finishing the quarter at 284K.

Avanza experienced a peak in weekly downloads of 7.9K in late October, with numbers generally hovering around 4K for the rest of the quarter. The app's weekly active users showed a slight increase, ending the quarter at 214K compared to 201K at the beginning.

Qliro saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, particularly in late November, reaching 6.5K. Weekly active users also increased, peaking at 13.3K in the same period before stabilizing around 10.5K towards the end of December.

PayPal - Pay, Send, Save showed consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 2.9K to 3.6K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users steadily increased, reaching around 40.3K in the final week of December, up from 37.2K at the start of the quarter.
