The fourth quarter of 2021 saw interesting trends for the top superhero games on iOS in Israel. Data from Sensor Tower reveals notable patterns in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top 5 games in this category.
MARVEL Future Revolution from Netmarble Corporation experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at around $589 in late September and gradually declining to $42 by the end of December. Weekly downloads also varied, hitting a high of 1.2K in early October before dropping to 84 by the last week of December. The game’s weekly active users started strong at 1K in late September, reaching a peak of 1.8K in early October, and then tapered off to 653 by the end of the quarter.
Marvel Contest of Champions by Kabam Games, Inc. saw impressive revenue spikes, especially in late November with $13.1K and mid-December with $14.3K. Downloads showed a steady increase towards the end of the quarter, rising from 149 in late September to 532 by the last week of December. Active users followed a similar upward trend, starting at 792 in late September and reaching 1.1K by the end of December.
The Superhero League from Lion Studios maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at 279 in mid-October and ending the quarter at 119. Active users saw a decline from 1.5K in late September to 939 by the end of December. This game did not generate any weekly revenue during this period.
Mashup Hero: Superhero Games by HOMA GAMES had a strong start with 1.1K downloads in late September, but downloads decreased to 59 by the end of December. Active users showed a downward trend from 1.2K in late September to 132 by the end of the quarter. Similar to The Superhero League, this game did not generate any weekly revenue in Q4 2021.
PJ Masks™: Hero Academy by Scary Beasties Ltd had modest revenue, with notable peaks at $79 in late September and $109 in the last week of December. Downloads surged to 707 in late October but settled at 54 by the end of December. Weekly active users increased from 94 in late September to a peak of 441 in late October, before stabilizing at 131 by the end of the quarter.
