In the fourth quarter of 2021, the top 5 dinosaur game applications in Europe displayed varied performance trends across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Below is an overview of each game's performance, based on Sensor Tower data.
Hyper Evolution from SayGames LTD saw an impressive initial surge in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 898K in mid-October. However, downloads gradually decreased, ending the quarter around 99K. Weekly active users also followed a downward trend, starting at 757K in mid-October and falling to 191K by the end of December. Revenue, though minimal, showed an uptick in the last two weeks of December, reaching $76.
Dinosaur Rampage by Geisha Tokyo Inc. maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with a notable increase in the final week of December, reaching 102K. Active users mirrored this trend, growing from 306K in early October to 489K by the end of December. Revenue remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, peaking at $54 in late November.
Jurassic World™: The Game from Jam City, Inc. experienced steady weekly revenue, peaking at $116K in the last week of December. Weekly downloads showed a gradual increase, ending the quarter at 46K. Active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly but averaging around 340K throughout the quarter.
Dinosaurs Bubble Shooter by Sonat Joint Stock Company saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting from just 3.2K in late September and reaching 52K by the end of December. Active users showed a consistent increase, peaking at 126K in the final week of December.
Finally, ARK: Survival Evolved by Studio Wildcard exhibited a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads rose from 21K in late September to nearly 50K by the end of December. Active users also increased, reaching 187K in the last week of December. Revenue demonstrated a consistent pattern, peaking at $22K in the second-to-last week of December.
