In the fourth quarter of 2021, Poland saw notable trends in the personal finance budgeting and planning app market. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps on a unified platform, based on data from Sensor Tower.
DotBee by Honey Payment, despite being a relatively new entrant, demonstrated a significant increase in weekly downloads. Starting at approximately 1.5K downloads in late September, the app saw a steady rise, peaking at 4.9K downloads in the week of December 20. However, the app did not generate any weekly revenue during this period.
Billy - paragony i budżet from inout.money group sp. z o.o. experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, with a high of around $120 in the final week of December. The app’s weekly downloads surged in mid-November, reaching a peak of 4.8K in the week of November 22, before stabilizing around 1.8K downloads towards the end of the quarter.
Money manager & expenses, published by Cleaner + Antivirus + VPN company, maintained a consistent weekly revenue, hovering around the $60-$80 range throughout the quarter. The app’s downloads showed a notable spike in the final week of December, climbing to 2.2K downloads. The number of weekly active users also saw a gradual increase, peaking at 12.3K in the same period.
Splitwise from Splitwise showed a steady weekly revenue, with figures ranging between $78 and $155. The app’s weekly downloads exhibited a declining trend from early October, with a slight rebound to 1.8K downloads by the end of December. Active users slightly decreased over the quarter, ending with around 5.8K users in the last week of December.
Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker by BudgetBakers saw a significant revenue peak of $371 in late October. Weekly downloads showed variability, reaching a high of 1.4K in early November, and the app maintained a steady number of active users, peaking at 4.7K in the first week of November.
