Throughout the fourth quarter of 2021, the top 5 snake games on a unified platform in Malta exhibited noteworthy trends in both weekly downloads and revenue. Here’s a closer look at each game's performance according to data from Sensor Tower.
Snake.io - Fun Snake .io Games from Kooapps Games | Fun Arcade and Casual Action Games saw fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at $32 in mid-October and maintaining a range between $6 and $28 for the rest of the quarter. Weekly downloads showed a significant rise towards the end of December, reaching up to 220 in the final week, compared to an average of around 130 earlier in the quarter.
slither.io by Lowtech Studios had a minimal revenue spike in early December, hitting $12, but otherwise recorded negligible revenue throughout the quarter. However, the game’s weekly downloads demonstrated a steady increase, especially in December, where downloads peaked at 155 in the last week.
Snaky .io - MMO Worm Battle from CASUAL AZUR GAMES did not generate any revenue during the quarter. Weekly downloads saw a declining trend, starting at 55 in late September and dropping to 13 by the end of December.
Snake Arena: Snake Game 3D, also by CASUAL AZUR GAMES, similarly reported no revenue throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, peaking at 52 in late November and closing the year at 47.
Worms Zone .io - Hungry Snake, another title from CASUAL AZUR GAMES, had a brief revenue uptick in mid-December with $8 reported for two consecutive weeks. Weekly downloads showed a mixed pattern, starting at 39 in late September, dipping to 18 in October, and then gradually increasing to 34 by the end of December.
