In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 2D Anime games on the Android platform in Australia displayed diverse performance metrics in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides insightful trends for these popular games.
Gacha Life from Lunime experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at $33 in the first week of January and showing a general decline before rising again to $24 by late March. Weekly downloads started at over 2K in early January, gradually decreasing to around 1.4K by the end of the quarter. Active users also saw a slight decline from 19.5K to about 16.4K by late March.
Hero Wars: Alliance by NEXTERS GLOBAL LTD stood out with substantial weekly revenue, reaching a high of approximately $31.5K in mid-February. Downloads varied, peaking at 1.7K in late February. Weekly active users saw a decline from 7K to around 5.9K throughout the quarter.
Vlinder Princess Dress up game from 31 Dress up Games showed consistent but modest revenue figures, peaking at $22 in mid-March. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at over 2.2K at the beginning of January and stabilizing around 1.3K by the end of March. Active users decreased from 3.5K to about 2.6K during the quarter.
Gacha Club by Lunime, which did not generate revenue, maintained a steady download rate, starting at 1.9K in early January and ending around 1.1K in late March. Active users showed a gradual decline from 16.3K to approximately 13.9K over the quarter.
YOYO Doll Anime Dress Up Game from YoYo Dress Up Games saw modest revenue, peaking at $15 in early January. Downloads fluctuated significantly, starting at 2.3K in late December and dropping to around 582 by late March. Active users also fluctuated, starting at 7.7K and ending at approximately 4.7K.
