In the first quarter of 2022, the performance of the top 5 food delivery services on the Android platform in Algeria showcased significant trends in downloads and active users. The data comes from Sensor Tower, offering more detailed insights on their platform.
Yassir Express experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 21.5K in late December and peaking at 30K by the end of March. The app also saw a steady rise in weekly active users, beginning at 72.1K and reaching approximately 108.9K.
Jumia Food: Food Delivery had a varied performance in downloads, with a peak of 16.3K in the first week of January, but saw a gradual decline to about 9.7K by the end of March. Active users also showed a decreasing trend, starting at 121.6K and ending the quarter at 103.9K.
temtem had fluctuating download numbers, peaking at 13.7K in the last week of March. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 6.8K in late December to 15.7K by the end of the quarter.
Digikala Jet showed a moderate performance in downloads, starting with 671 in late December and peaking at 4.2K in the last week of January before tapering off significantly to just 53 downloads by early March.
Wajeez: Food delivery and more had relatively stable download numbers, starting at 692 in late December and ending with 832 by the end of March.
