2026 State of Mobile is Live!

The first quarter of 2022 saw notable performances from Italy's top health and fitness apps on the Android platform. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveals interesting trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top five applications.
VerificaC19 experienced a significant decline in weekly downloads over the quarter. Starting at 175K in late December 2021, downloads dropped to around 52K by the end of March 2022. Active users peaked at approximately 760K in late January before gradually decreasing to about 355K by the end of March 2022.
WeWard - The Walking App saw a steep rise in weekly downloads early in the quarter, hitting a peak of around 118K in late January before tapering off to approximately 39K by the end of March. Active users climbed from 15.6K in late December to a high of 305K in late January, then saw a slight decline, stabilizing at around 213K by the end of the quarter.
Blood Pressure App showed fluctuating download numbers, starting at 1.1K in late December and peaking at 82K in late February. The app's active users followed a similar pattern, increasing from 1K in late December to approximately 88K by the end of March.
Google Fit: Activity Tracking maintained a steady performance in weekly downloads, with minor fluctuations, starting at 5.6K in late December and ending at around 8.2K by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 150K for most of the quarter, peaking at 168K in late March.
Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner showed consistent weekly downloads, starting at 9.8K in late December and rising to about 16K by the end of March. Revenue was steady, averaging around $250 per week throughout the quarter. Active users also remained stable, with minor fluctuations, maintaining an average of around 110K.
