In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 pixel games on the Android platform in Russia showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at each of these top-performing games:
Warspear Online from TITULUM saw a gradual decline in weekly revenue, starting at around $11.4K in late December and dropping to approximately $2.7K by early March. Weekly downloads peaked at 4.8K in early February before declining to around 1.4K by early March. The game's weekly active users showed a slight increase initially, peaking at 16.3K in early February, then decreasing to about 11.9K by early March.
Soul Knight from ChillyRoom experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, with a high of around $6K in mid-January. Downloads fluctuated between 24.5K and 41.6K, peaking at 40.4K in early March. Weekly active users ranged from 915.7K to 1.2M, showing a general upward trend throughout the quarter.
Galaxy Attack: Shooting Game from 1SOFT maintained relatively steady weekly revenue, averaging around $2.1K, with a notable dip to $374 in early March. Weekly downloads peaked at 21.4K in early March before dropping to approximately 8.9K by late March. Active users fluctuated, peaking at around 171.7K in early March before declining to 123.1K by the end of the month.
Terraria from 505 Games Srl had modest weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.8K in late February. Downloads saw a peak of 1.7K in late December, but generally hovered around 700 to 900 throughout the quarter. Weekly active users increased slightly from 1.4K in late December to around 1.8K by late March.
WorldBox - Sandbox God Sim from Maxim Karpenko showed an increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $1.9K in late January. Downloads varied significantly, with a high of 54.1K in mid-March. Active users saw a significant rise, peaking at 142.7K in mid-March before slightly declining to 111K by late March.
