In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 trivia games on the Android platform in Central America showed varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at their performance.
Kahoot! Play & Create Quizzes experienced a notable increase in both weekly revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue started at around $409 and saw a peak of approximately $572 by the end of February. Downloads also saw an upward trend, starting from about 5.1K at the end of December and reaching a high of 27.9K in the week of February 21. The number of weekly active users for Kahoot! Play & Create Quizzes increased from 119K to a peak of 180K before settling at around 144K by the end of March.
Trivia Crack: Fun Quiz Games maintained a steady performance in terms of weekly revenue, ranging between $172 and $406 throughout the quarter. Downloads started at 41.3K at the end of December and saw a dip to around 22.6K in mid-February before climbing back up to approximately 36.3K by the end of March. Active users for Trivia Crack: Fun Quiz Games decreased from 163K to a low of 114K in late February but recovered to about 135K by the end of the quarter.
Peak – Brain Games & Training showed relatively stable revenue figures, peaking at $359 in the first week of January and then hovering around the $200 mark for the rest of the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 286 and seeing a low of 57 in late February, before rising back to 293 by the end of March. Active users declined from 12.8K at the end of December to about 7.9K by the end of March.
Elevate - Brain Training Games had a more erratic revenue trend, starting at $361 and dropping to around $117 in early February, before peaking again at $518 by the end of March. Downloads were generally low, with a notable high of 476 at the end of January and a low of 16 in mid-January. Active users saw a decline from 3.3K at the end of December to about 2.1K in early March, with a slight recovery to 2.2K by the end of the quarter.
Finally, Trivia Crack Premium had the lowest figures among the top 5. Revenue saw a high of $284 in the first week of January, with a significant drop to around $60 by the end of March. Downloads were minimal, starting at 69 and dropping to single digits by the end of the quarter. Active users decreased from 924 at the end of December to 638 by the end of March.
