In Q1 2022, the top 5 geolocation games on iOS in Ecuador showed varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Pokémon GO by Niantic, Inc. saw significant fluctuations in its metrics. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $1.1K in the week of February 21 and saw a low of $167 in the final week of March. Download numbers were highest at 613 in the same week of February 21, while weekly active users reached a peak of 18.4K during that period, eventually decreasing to around 15.8K by the end of the quarter.
Five Nights at Freddy's AR from Illumix, Inc. had a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching $120 in the week of February 21. Downloads experienced a downward trend, starting at 417 in late January and dropping to 104 by the end of March. Active users peaked at 1.1K in late January before declining to 482 by the quarter's end.
Jurassic World Alive by Jam City, Inc. maintained moderate weekly revenue, peaking at $106 in the week of February 21. Downloads fluctuated, with a high of 47 in the same week, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 129 to 151 throughout the quarter.
Avo! from Playdeo showed minimal activity in terms of downloads and active users. Downloads peaked at 40 in the last week of January, while active users reached 187 in the first week of February. The app did not generate any revenue during this period.
The Walking Dead: Our World by Next Games saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $49 in the week of March 21. Downloads remained low, with a peak of 20 in mid-February, and the app had minimal active users, with a maximum of 10 reported in mid-February.
