The first quarter of 2022 saw significant activity among the top communication apps in Chile. Here's a detailed look at the performance of WhatsApp Messenger, Telegram, Messenger, Sticker.ly - Sticker Maker, and Truecaller: AI Call Blocker.
WhatsApp Messenger experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 82K in the week of March 7. Throughout the quarter, weekly active users remained strong, ranging from around 12.7M to 12.8M.
Telegram saw an upward trend in weekly downloads, reaching a high of about 50K in the week of February 28. Weekly active users also grew, peaking at nearly 990K in mid-March.
Messenger maintained a relatively stable download rate, with a notable increase in the final week of March, reaching 45K. Weekly active users showed a slight decline, starting at approximately 4.2M and ending the quarter at around 3.97M. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, peaking at $138 in late January.
Sticker.ly - Sticker Maker displayed a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads peaked at about 34K in mid-February, while active users reached around 473K during the same period.
Truecaller: AI Call Blocker showed consistent revenue growth, peaking at approximately $8.6K in late March. Downloads were highest in the first week of January at around 27K. Active users increased steadily, ending the quarter at about 724K.
