Throughout the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 Hasbro games apps demonstrated diverse performance metrics in South Africa. Here's a closer look at their trends in weekly downloads, weekly revenue, and weekly active users.
MONOPOLY Solitaire: Card Games from MobilityWare saw significant growth in weekly downloads, especially in March, peaking at approximately 9K in the week of March 14. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, rising from 1.8K at the start of the quarter to around 9.5K mid-March.
PJ Masks™: Hero Academy by Scary Beasties Ltd experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting at over 4K in late December and dropping to 1.6K by the end of March. Weekly revenue fluctuated, with a notable peak of $74 in the week of March 21. Active users also decreased, from 7.7K at the beginning to about 3.8K at the end of the quarter.
World of Peppa Pig: Kids Games from Find Your Fun showed strong weekly revenue, maintaining a steady range around $400-$600. Downloads started at 3.2K and saw a decline to about 2K by the end of March. Active users remained relatively high, fluctuating between 7.8K and 11K throughout the quarter.
PJ Masks™: Moonlight Heroes, another title by Scary Beasties Ltd, exhibited a decrease in downloads from 3.2K at the start to 1.3K by the end of March. Revenue was minimal but peaked at $51 in late January. The app's active users declined from 9K to about 5.2K over the quarter.
Finally, Power Rangers: Legacy Wars by nWay Inc. maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 1.4K and ending at 1.7K. Weekly revenue saw a peak of $212 in mid-January but generally remained under $100. Active users stayed relatively stable around 5K, with a slight increase to 5.3K by the end of March.
