In Q1 2022, the top 5 navigation apps in Latvia demonstrated varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and revenue, according to Sensor Tower data. Here's a detailed look at how each app fared during the quarter.
Geocaching® by Groundspeak Inc. saw significant fluctuations in its weekly downloads and revenue. The app's weekly downloads peaked at around 446 in early February before stabilizing between 176 and 244 for the remainder of the quarter. Revenue also showed a positive trend, peaking at approximately $485 in late February.
BalticMaps from Jana seta SIA maintained a relatively steady performance. Weekly downloads remained consistent, hovering around the 100-128 range throughout the quarter. Revenue saw minor ups and downs, peaking at about $287 in the first week of January and closing the quarter with around $235.
Circuit Route Planner by Circuit Routing experienced a slight decline in weekly downloads, starting at 121 in early January and reducing to around 90 by the end of March. Revenue, however, showed some peaks, notably reaching $178 in the last week of February.
ActiveCaptain® from Garmin had a more volatile performance. Weekly downloads varied widely, from as high as 95 in late December to as low as 11 in late March. Revenue also fluctuated, with a notable peak of $266 in the second week of January.
Finally, Navionics® Boating by Garmin Italy Technologies S.R.L. saw a decline in both downloads and revenue over the quarter. Weekly downloads dropped from 63 in late December to 13 by the end of March. Revenue followed a similar trend, peaking at $150 in early January and decreasing to $59 by the end of the quarter.
