The second quarter of 2022 saw significant activity in the apparel app market on the Android platform in Europe. Here's a detailed look at the performance of the top 5 apps: SHEIN-Shopping Online, Trendyol - Online Alışveriş, Zalando – online fashion store, ABOUT YOU Online Fashion Shop, and H&M - we love fashion.
SHEIN-Shopping Online demonstrated a strong performance in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 443K downloads and peaking at around 628K in mid-April. However, it experienced a gradual decrease to about 394K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users showed a similar trend, beginning with roughly 9.9M and reaching a high of 11.3M in mid-May before declining slightly to 10.3M towards the end of the quarter.
Trendyol - Online Alışveriş experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at 179K and peaking at 283K in late May. It ended the quarter with around 204K downloads. The app's weekly active users saw a steady increase from about 16.8M to a peak of 18.8M in mid-April, followed by a slight decline to 17.9M by the end of June.
Zalando – online fashion store had a consistent rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 180K and reaching a peak of 252K in early June. The active user base started at approximately 3.6M and fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending at 3.6M.
ABOUT YOU Online Fashion Shop saw its weekly downloads peak at around 189K in mid-May, starting from 117K at the beginning of the quarter. However, downloads dropped to approximately 64K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users increased from about 1.2M to a peak of 1.4M in mid-May but declined to 1M by the end of the quarter.
H&M - we love fashion showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 100K and peaking at 160K in early May. By the end of June, it had about 106K downloads. The app's weekly active users started at 3.1M and peaked at 3.6M in mid-June, ending the quarter at 3.5M.
