The second quarter of 2022 saw notable performance trends for the top food and diet tracking apps on the Android platform in Germany. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for the leading apps in this category.
YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, peaking at around $76K in the week of June 27. Weekly downloads saw a high of approximately 15K in mid-May, while weekly active users hovered around 450K to 500K, showing some declines and recoveries throughout the quarter.
WeightWatchers Program had a steady weekly revenue, with a peak of around $18K in mid-May. Weekly downloads remained relatively low, with numbers ranging between 1.3K and 2K. Active users showed a decline from around 37K at the beginning of April to approximately 31K by the end of June.
Lifesum Food Tracker & Fasting saw its weekly revenue peak at about $17K in late April. Weekly downloads were consistent, reaching up to 7.2K in early May. The app maintained a stable number of active users, fluctuating around 130K to 140K throughout the quarter.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter showed a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at nearly $9.7K in the last week of June. Weekly downloads were stable, with numbers around 6.5K. Active users remained strong, averaging around 160K to 170K during the quarter.
Fddb - Calorie Counter & Diet had a stable weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $6.3K in late April. Weekly downloads showed some variation, reaching up to 5.1K in mid-May. Active users were relatively stable, ranging from 27K to 30K.
