In Q2 2022, the top health and fitness apps on the Android platform in Europe demonstrated a range of performance trends. Below, we delve into the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user statistics for the period, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Blood Pressure App from QR Code Scanner saw a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 576K and ending the quarter at approximately 243K. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from roughly 743K to 453K.
Step Counter - Pedometer by Leap Fitness Group maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue, peaking at around $1.3K in early June. Downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, with a high of approximately 296K in early May before settling at around 203K by the end of June. Active users showed a steady increase, reaching nearly 3.5M by the end of the quarter.
Sweatcoin・Walking Step Counter from Sweatco Ltd experienced a significant rise in weekly revenue, peaking at about $17.1K at the end of May. The app saw a surge in downloads in early May with about 396K, which tapered off to roughly 161K by late June. Active users increased steadily, climbing from around 1.2M to approximately 2.3M over the quarter.
Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co.,Ltd witnessed stable download numbers, starting at around 171K and ending at approximately 162K. Active users showed a positive trend, growing from roughly 1.1M to over 1.3M by the end of the quarter.
Pedometer - Step Counter App from ITO Technologies, Inc. had fluctuating download numbers, peaking at around 153K in mid-April and decreasing to about 107K by late June. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 1.8M throughout the quarter.
