Throughout the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 insurance applications on the Android platform in South America exhibited diverse performance trends in downloads and active user metrics. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Porto: Seguros, Cartão virtual maintained a robust presence in the market with weekly downloads fluctuating between approximately 17.9K and 25.2K. The app saw a peak of 25.2K downloads in the week of May 30. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 350K throughout the quarter, peaking at 353K in the week of May 30.
Bradesco Saúde experienced a consistent performance with weekly downloads ranging from 11.7K to 19.1K. The highest number of downloads was recorded in the week of March 28. Active users saw a gradual increase, starting at around 97.8K in late March and reaching approximately 93.3K by the end of June.
Bradesco Seguros showed a steady download trend, with numbers varying between 11K and 16.8K. Downloads peaked at 16.8K during the week of May 30. Active users demonstrated a slight upward trend, starting from 105K in late March and reaching up to 111K by early June.
AFP Integra saw significant growth in weekly downloads, particularly in June, with a peak of 40.4K in the week of June 20. Active users also increased notably, from approximately 18.6K in late March to 51K by mid-June.
Pier: Mobile & Auto insurance had a varied performance in terms of downloads, starting strong with 27.9K in late March but declining to around 3.9K by mid-June. Active users followed a similar pattern, beginning at approximately 80K in late March and decreasing to about 50K by the end of June.
