The second quarter of 2022 saw notable performances from the top navigation and maps apps on the Android platform in Greece. Data from Sensor Tower reveals interesting trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.
GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation from AppStar Studios experienced a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 4.9K in late March and peaking at 5.9K by the end of June. Weekly revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of around $40 in the last week of May before dropping to zero in June. Active users saw a general increase, beginning at 11K and ending at 13.8K.
Google Earth by Google LLC maintained a steady download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 3.7K to 5.1K. Active users remained consistent throughout the quarter, hovering around 28K to 29K.
GPS, Offline Maps & Directions from Universal Nav also saw a steady download rate, ranging from 1.2K to 1.7K weekly downloads. Active users increased from 9.6K in late March to 10.8K by the end of June.
Petal Maps – GPS & Navigation showed a significant spike in downloads, particularly in the week of June 6 with 2.4K downloads and June 13 with 4.1K downloads. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 3.6K in mid-June.
TomTom GO Navigation from TomTom International BV saw notable weekly revenue, peaking at $248 in late May. Downloads fluctuated between 500 and 1K, while active users increased from 665 in late March to 1.1K by the end of June.
