Top 5 News and Magazines Android Apps in Serbia: Q2 2022 Performance

In the second quarter of 2022, Serbia's top News and Magazines applications on the Android platform exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of downloads. Here is a closer look at the weekly download numbers for the top five apps: SQUID - News & Magazines, Mondo, Alo, Mozzart Sport, and NOVA Portal.

SQUID - News & Magazines experienced a relatively stable trend in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with approximately 930 downloads and peaking at around 1.2K downloads in the week of June 6. The app saw a minor decline towards the end of the quarter, ending with about 949 downloads in the last week of June.

Mondo showed a fluctuating download pattern. Starting with 758 downloads at the end of March, it hit a peak of around 1.1K downloads in the week of May 30. However, the app experienced a significant drop towards the end of the quarter, finishing with 426 downloads in the final week of June.

Alo displayed a steady increase in weekly downloads mid-quarter, reaching a high of approximately 948 downloads in the last week of June. The app began the quarter with around 739 downloads and saw a notable rise in the weeks of May 30 and June 20, with 925 and 890 downloads, respectively.

Mozzart Sport had a more variable download trend. Starting the quarter with 565 downloads, it peaked at 684 downloads in the week of May 9 but experienced a decline towards the end, closing the quarter with 382 downloads in the last week of June.

NOVA Portal saw a significant drop in downloads over the quarter. The app started strong with 1.2K downloads at the end of March but experienced a consistent decline, hitting a low of approximately 279 downloads in the week of June 13. It slightly recovered towards the end of the quarter, ending with around 300 downloads in the last week of June.
