In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 crime games on iOS in South America displayed varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at each game’s performance based on Sensor Tower data.
Airport Security: Fly Safe by Kwalee Ltd saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 12.9K in late March and dropping to approximately 4.5K by the end of June. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at $105 in late April before tapering off to $50 by the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively steady, averaging around 45K, with a slight peak of 49.4K in mid-June.
Gangstar Vegas - Mafia action from Gameloft experienced consistent weekly downloads, ranging between 5K and 6K. The game’s revenue showed some volatility, with a notable peak of $669 in mid-June. Active users hovered around 17K throughout the quarter, maintaining a stable user base.
Mafia City: War of Underworld by Phantix Games demonstrated strong revenue performance, reaching a high of $16.2K in mid-June. Downloads, however, saw a significant drop, starting at 4.2K in late March and falling to 1.5K by the end of June. Active users decreased over the quarter, from 17.4K to 11.1K.
Gangstar New Orleans, also by Gameloft, had steady weekly downloads, fluctuating between 3K and 4.8K. Revenue remained modest, peaking at $232 in early June. Active users gradually increased from 8.4K in late March to 9.2K by the end of June.
Criminal Case by Pretty Simple showed a positive trend in downloads, rising from 3.1K in late March to 5.7K by the end of June. Revenue remained relatively stable, with weekly figures around $400 to $700. Active users saw a significant increase, jumping from 22K in late March to nearly 29.2K at the end of June.
