In the second quarter of 2022, the carpooling and ridesharing market in Colombia saw notable activity across the top five applications on a unified platform. Here's a breakdown of the performance metrics for these leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
inDrive. Save on city rides, published by SUOL INNOVATIONS LTD, demonstrated a dynamic trend in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 104.7K in mid-April. While the app's downloads fluctuated, it maintained a range between 68.6K and 104.7K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a steady rise, starting at 1.9M in late March and reaching over 2M by the end of June.
DiDi Rider: Affordable rides, from DiDi, exhibited a stable download pattern, staying within the 42.8K to 55.7K range. The app's active user base also showed consistency, fluctuating between 1.1M and 1.4M during the quarter.
Picap, a local favorite from Picap Co, saw its weekly downloads hover around the 20K to 32K mark. The app's active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 147K to 171K, indicating a loyal user base.
Uber - Request a ride, by Uber Technologies, Inc., continued to be a popular choice with weekly downloads fluctuating between 18.3K and 28K. The app's active user base ranged from approximately 941K to 1.2M, with a notable increase towards the end of the quarter.
Cabify, from Maxi Mobility, Inc., experienced steady weekly downloads, peaking at around 20.8K. Active users for Cabify showed a consistent trend, ranging from 213K to 251K, with a peak in late June.
