In the second quarter of 2022, the top five shopping apps in Switzerland—SHEIN - Shopping Online, Zalando – Online fashion, Lidl Plus, Migros – Einkaufen & Sparen, and Klarna | Shop now. Pay later.—demonstrated interesting trends in downloads and active user metrics.
SHEIN - Shopping Online saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 9.9K in the last week of May. The app’s weekly active users also showed a positive trend, starting at around 121K at the end of March and reaching roughly 137K by the end of June.
Zalando – Online fashion experienced a steady number of weekly downloads, fluctuating between 5.3K and 7.5K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users for Zalando remained relatively stable, starting at 172K at the end of March and ending at approximately 167K by the end of June.
Lidl Plus downloads showcased a peak in early June with about 7.3K downloads. The app maintained a stable number of active users, hovering around the 100K mark throughout the quarter, with a slight increase towards the end of June reaching about 103K.
Migros – Einkaufen & Sparen downloads saw a significant peak at the end of June, reaching approximately 8.5K. The app's weekly active users fluctuated but showed a positive trend towards the end of the quarter, starting at around 94K and ending at approximately 89K.
Klarna | Shop now. Pay later. experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 6.6K in late May. The app’s weekly active users also showed a consistent upward trend, growing from about 29K at the end of March to approximately 32K by the end of June.
