In the third quarter of 2022, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps in the United Kingdom on the Android platform showcased diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a breakdown of their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Released by Sweat Foundation, this app saw a significant spike in weekly downloads, peaking at 32K in the week of September 5. However, downloads declined to about 5.5K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users also surged, reaching approximately 64K in mid-September before settling at 48K by the end of the month.
This app from Binance Inc. maintained a steady weekly download rate, hovering around 4.3K to 4.9K throughout the quarter. Active users fluctuated, starting at 134K and peaking at 139K in mid-September, before slightly decreasing to 138K by the end of the quarter.
Coinbase Android's app experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at 2.9K and reaching around 4.5K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 150K throughout the quarter.
Published by Crypto Technology Holdings Limited, this app saw a steady increase in weekly downloads from 2K at the beginning of August to 3.8K in early September. Active users, however, showed a declining trend from 130K to about 108K by the end of September.
The Trust Wallet, developed by DApps Platform, Inc., maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 2K per week. Active users showed a slight decline over the quarter, starting at 45K and ending at approximately 41K.
