In the third quarter of 2022, top travel and local apps on the Android platform in Brazil showcased diverse performance trends. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and active users for the leading five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at around 56K in late June and peaking at approximately 63K in mid-July before declining to 31K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users mirrored this pattern, beginning the quarter at 1.3M, peaking at 1.4M in mid-July, and ending at 1.2M.

Airbnb showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 46K in late June and reaching about 57K by the end of September. Weekly active users started at 536K, peaked at 700K in mid-August, and then declined to 509K by the end of the quarter.

123milhas: Voos e Hotéis saw its weekly downloads decrease from 52K at the start of the quarter to around 37K by late September. The app's weekly active users also saw a decline, starting at 376K and dropping to 323K by the end of the quarter.

Google Earth had a relatively stable performance in weekly downloads, hovering around 44K at the beginning of the quarter and ending at 36K. The weekly active users showed a slight variation, starting at 279K and peaking at 302K in mid-July before settling at 272K by the end of September.

ClickBus - Bus Tickets experienced a peak in weekly downloads at 52K in mid-July, but this figure dropped to around 31K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users started at 140K, peaked at 162K in mid-July, and ended at 119K.
