In the third quarter of 2022, the top navigation and maps applications on the iOS platform in Saudi Arabia showcased diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here are the insights based on data from Sensor Tower.
Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 58K in early August. However, downloads saw a gradual decline towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 35K in the final week of September. Active users remained robust, starting at 4.4M and experiencing minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at 4.3M.
Google Earth had a notable spike in downloads, reaching a high of 103K in late August. The app's weekly downloads then dropped significantly, stabilizing around 6K by the end of September. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 373K and ending the quarter at 375K.
Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS experienced consistent weekly revenue, peaking at about $8.2K in late July. Weekly downloads saw a downward trend from a high of 15K in mid-July to around 6K by the end of September. Active users also saw a decrease, starting at 40K and ending at approximately 35K.
