Throughout the third quarter of 2022, the top 5 word puzzle games on iOS in Germany demonstrated varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Below is a detailed look at each game's metrics.
Wort Guru from ZenLife Games Pte. Ltd. experienced fluctuations in both weekly revenue and downloads. Revenue peaked at around $4.1K in late June, then saw a decline, stabilizing at approximately $3.5K by the end of September. Weekly downloads followed a similar pattern, starting at around 3.6K and ending the quarter with about 2.8K. Active users also showed a decline from 41K in late June to around 36.8K by late September.
Wordscapes by PeopleFun, Inc. saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, starting at $2.1K and reaching nearly $3.9K by the end of the quarter. Downloads rose significantly from 5.6K in late June to around 9.8K by the end of September. Active users exhibited steady growth, moving from 6.2K to 6.4K over the same period.
Wordzee! - Puzzle Word Game from MAG Interactive had notable increases in revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue started at $666 and peaked at around $3.2K in mid-September. Downloads showed an impressive spike, starting at 1.1K and reaching 4.7K by early September. Active users also increased, peaking at approximately 7.2K in mid-September before settling at around 4.7K by the end of the month.
Scrabble® GO - New Word Game by Scopely, Inc. maintained steady revenue throughout the quarter, ending with a slight increase to $1.6K by late September. Downloads saw a significant rise from 1.6K in late June to 4.9K by the end of September. Active users also grew from 16.4K to 20.5K during the same period.
Words of Wonders: Crossword from Fugo showed stable revenue trends, maintaining around $1.1K to $1.6K weekly. Downloads were relatively stable, ranging between 1.7K and 4.5K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a slight decline from 32.3K in late June to 27.2K by the end of September.
