During the third quarter of 2022, the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Belarus saw distinctive trends across the top 5 applications, according to Sensor Tower data. Here’s a closer look at the performance of each app on a unified platform.
Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery saw significant engagement with weekly downloads consistently hovering around the 14K-18K range. The app's active users fluctuated slightly but remained strong, starting at over 1M at the beginning of the quarter and ending just under 900K.
Fasten BY: Taxi and Rides maintained a steady download rate, generally around 8K-10K per week. Active users for Fasten BY showed minor variations but held steady around 150K throughout the quarter.
Bolt: Request a Ride had more modest download numbers, typically in the range of 1.5K-2K weekly. Active users for Bolt were relatively stable, averaging around 60K per week.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced more modest activity compared to its peers. Weekly downloads for BlaBlaCar ranged from approximately 600 to 850, while active users stayed around the 3K mark for most of the quarter.
inDrive. Save on city rides had the lowest download numbers among the top apps, with weekly downloads generally below 400. Active users for inDrive showed a slight increase over the quarter, starting at around 2.3K and ending at about 2.7K.
