Nubank - Conta e Cartão maintained a strong presence with downloads starting at around 693k in the last week of June and peaking at approximately 771k in mid-September. Weekly active users showed a steady increase from around 39 million to over 42 million in the first week of September, before a slight dip to approximately 40 million by the end of the month.
Mercado Pago: cuenta digital, another key player, experienced a stable download rate, with figures hovering around the 600k mark throughout the quarter, and a slight peak at around 615k in early July. Its weekly active users saw a slight upward trend, starting from around 24 million and reaching over 25 million by early September.
PicPay: Conta, Pix e Cartão saw its downloads begin at nearly 400k in late June and experienced a dip to around 291k towards the end of August, with a minor rebound to over 309k by the end of September. Lastly, CAIXA experienced its downloads start at around 328k, with a noticeable decline to just over 281k in early September, followed by a minor increase to nearly 295k by the end of the month. The weekly active users showed a decrease from around 13.3 million to approximately 13 million during the quarter.
