In Q4 2022, the top 5 casual games on the Android platform in Egypt showed diverse trends in their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed breakdown of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Coin Master by Moon Active experienced fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at around $14.3K in the week of October 24. Weekly downloads for the app showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, reaching about 10K in the last week of December. Active users also saw a slight increase, ending the quarter at approximately 64.4K.
Yalla Ludo - Ludo&Domino from Aviva Sun saw its weekly revenue decline over the quarter, starting at roughly $11K and dropping to about $3.3K by the end of December. Despite this, the app achieved significant weekly downloads, peaking in mid-October with approximately 89.5K downloads. Active users decreased from around 509K at the beginning of the quarter to 356K by the end of December.
Candy Crush Saga by King saw a notable revenue peak in mid-October at approximately $12.2K. Weekly downloads were highly variable, with a significant spike to about 106.8K in the week of December 19. Active users for the game remained relatively stable, averaging around 2.2M throughout the quarter.
Zynga Poker- Texas Holdem Game from Zynga had a more modest performance with weekly revenue peaking at around $7K in late October. The app’s downloads remained low but consistent, averaging around 320 downloads per week. Active users hovered around 5.5K throughout the quarter.
Finally, 8 Ball Pool by Miniclip.com showed a significant increase in weekly revenue towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately $5.9K in mid-December. Downloads also saw an upward trend, peaking at about 63.9K in the week of December 19. However, active users saw a decline from around 1.3M at the start of the quarter to 854K by the end of December.
