During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 train games on the Android platform in Norway showed varying performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at each app's performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Train Station 2: Rail Tycoon experienced a dynamic quarter. Weekly downloads saw a significant increase, starting from 70 in late September and peaking at 337 by the last week of December. Revenue followed a similar upward trend, starting at around $588 and reaching $797 by the end of the quarter. Active users also grew steadily, rising from 713 to 1.25K over the same period.
Thomas & Friends: Go Go Thomas had a modest performance. Downloads fluctuated slightly but ended the quarter on a high note, increasing from 54 to 83. Revenue was relatively low, peaking at $54 in mid-October and ending the quarter at $26. Active users showed a gradual increase, growing from 102 to 135.
Thomas & Friends: Magic Tracks showed consistent growth in downloads and active users. Downloads rose from 57 to 82 by the end of December. Revenue saw some fluctuations, peaking at $47 in mid-December and ending the quarter at $15. Active users increased from 70 to 100 over the same period.
Speed Train, despite being a newer release, showed strong performance in terms of downloads and active users. Downloads started high at 896 in early October, then fluctuated before stabilizing at 74 by the end of the quarter. Revenue was modest but peaked at $41 in mid-December. Active users increased significantly from 870 to 1.27K over the quarter.
Train Conductor World had a relatively stable quarter. Downloads were consistent, starting at 22 and ending at 27. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, peaking at $60 in the last week of December. Active users remained stable, fluctuating slightly around the 90 to 100 range.
