In the fourth quarter of 2022, the puzzle and riddle game genre on iOS in Sweden saw varied performance across the top five applications. Here’s an overview of their trends based on data from Sensor Tower.
Meme Challenge-Funny Card Game from MagicLab had fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 3.4K and ending the quarter at approximately 1.1K. Active users initially peaked at 9.4K in the last week of October but gradually declined to about 6.5K by the end of December.
Brain Test: Tricky Puzzles by UNICO STUDIO exhibited steady performance. Weekly downloads peaked at 3.2K at the end of October but settled around 2K towards the end of December. Active users peaked at 15.9K in the same period and maintained a consistent level, ending the quarter at roughly 12.4K. Revenue showed minor fluctuations, with a peak of $115 in late October and generally stayed between $50 and $100.
Thief Puzzle: to pass a level from TapNation had modest weekly downloads, peaking at about 1.9K at the end of October and remaining stable around 1.3K towards the end of December. Active users saw a peak of 4.7K in early November, with a slight decline to 4.1K by the end of December. Revenue saw minor peaks, reaching $24 in mid-December.
Car Parking Out - Jam Escape by LITTLE HEDGEHOGS LIMITED experienced variable download trends, starting at 3.8K in late September and dropping to around 360 by mid-December. Active users peaked at around 8.5K in mid-November but decreased to about 4.3K by the end of December.
Easy Game - Brain Test from Easybrain Ltd saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at 246 and peaking at 2.2K by mid-December. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 1.4K to approximately 4.7K by the end of December. Revenue remained modest but saw slight increases, peaking at $17 in early December.
