In the fourth quarter of 2022, the leading carpooling and ridesharing apps in Ukraine demonstrated varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.
Weekly downloads for Uklon rose significantly throughout the quarter, starting from around 32K in late September and peaking at approximately 61K by the end of December. Active users showed a notable increase as well, moving from about 225K to nearly 289K during the same period.
Bolt experienced a slight fluctuation in weekly downloads, beginning at around 45K and ending the quarter with roughly 40K. Active user numbers showed some variability but ultimately increased from about 354K to 367K.
For BlaBlaCar, weekly downloads hovered around 13K to 14K, with a peak of approximately 16K in the final week of December. Active users remained relatively stable, ranging from about 148K to 153K over the quarter.
Uber’s weekly downloads showed a gradual increase from around 11K in late September to about 14K by the end of December. The app’s active users fluctuated but ended the period with a slight increase from approximately 220K to 211K.
inDrive maintained a steady download rate, starting at around 3.6K and closing the quarter at about 3.8K. Active user numbers were relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at approximately 96K.
