Top 5 Food Delivery Services Apps in Egypt Q4 2022

The fourth quarter of 2022 saw significant activity in the food delivery app market in Egypt. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps on a unified platform, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Food, grocery & more experienced a substantial increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 59K in the final week of December. The app also saw a steady rise in weekly active users, growing from approximately 753K at the end of September to around 908K by the end of December.

elmenus showed fluctuating download rates, with weekly downloads ranging from about 12.7K to 20.3K. The active user base remained fairly stable, ending the quarter with around 268K active users.

InstaShop: Grocery Delivery saw a decline in weekly downloads, dropping from approximately 10.2K at the start of October to about 3.4K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from around 36.8K to about 24.7K over the same period.

Breadfast: Groceries And More experienced a peak in weekly downloads at the end of November with about 15.1K. The app's active user count also saw a rise, increasing from approximately 20.7K at the end of September to around 26.7K by the end of December.

Rabbit: 20 mins delivery had a varied performance in weekly downloads, peaking at about 7.5K in early November. The app's active user base saw growth, ending the quarter with around 23.5K active users, up from approximately 18.4K at the end of September.
