The fourth quarter of 2022 saw significant activity in the investing and financial management app category in Brazil. Here, we explore the performance of the top 5 apps, focusing on their weekly downloads and active user trends.
Pix Trade experienced impressive growth in weekly downloads, starting from 48.5K at the end of September and peaking at 180.3K by the last week of December. The app also saw a notable increase in weekly active users, rising from 132.6K to 275.3K over the same period.
IQ Option – Trading Platform had a fluctuating download trend, beginning at 129.5K and ending the quarter at 78.1K. Despite this, the app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users slightly decreasing from 1.02M to 803.4K.
NU Trade saw its downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter, starting at 50.1K and ending at 119.9K. Active user numbers also showed variability, climbing from 398.7K to 712.3K by the end of December.
NuInvest maintained a steady download rate, with a slight increase from 42.7K to 53.5K. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 265.8K and 299.9K.
Inter Trade showed a steady increase in downloads, starting at 31.3K and rising to 51.4K by the end of the quarter. Active users also increased, moving from 108.2K to 190.4K.
