In the fourth quarter of 2022, virtual fitness programs continued to gain traction in El Salvador. Here’s a closer look at how the top five apps performed based on data from Sensor Tower.
FitPro saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at around 3K at the beginning of October and peaking at 7.3K in mid-December. Active users also surged from 22.1K to a high of 36.1K by the end of the quarter.
Sweatcoin Walking Step Counter experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, with a notable peak of 3.5K in early November. Revenue varied, reaching a high of approximately $72 in late October. Active users saw a decrease from 15.8K to about 10.5K by the end of December.
Six Pack in 30 Days - 6 Pack had relatively stable weekly downloads, averaging around 1K throughout the quarter. Revenue remained modest, with a peak of $45 in early October. Active users slightly declined from 12.4K to 10.5K over the same period.
Home Workout - No Equipments maintained consistent weekly downloads, starting at 1.3K and settling around 800 by the end of December. Revenue saw a peak of $78 in mid-October. Active users showed a gradual decrease from 11.1K to 9.4K.
Home Fitness Coach: FitCoach had varied weekly downloads, with a notable high of 2.2K in early October. Revenue peaked at $326 at the end of September. Active users fluctuated, starting at 3.2K and ending at about 2.6K by the end of the quarter.
