During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top wellness apps in the Netherlands demonstrated diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five wellness apps, according to Sensor Tower.
Meditation Moments exhibited a stable revenue stream, peaking at approximately $31K in the last week of October. Downloads saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, with a high of 5.7K in the week of October 31 and dropping to around 3.9K by the end of December. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 42.3K in late September and ending the quarter at 41.4K.
VGZ Mindfulness Coach saw its downloads peak mid-November at around 4.2K, before decreasing to roughly 2.1K by the end of December. Active users showed a positive trend, starting from 11.9K and reaching a high of 14.5K in late November, before tapering off to 11.4K by the end of the quarter.
Sleep Cycle - Tracker & Sounds experienced a steady increase in revenue, reaching approximately $8.3K in the week of November 21. Downloads saw a downward trend, starting at 4K in late September and ending at around 2.3K in late December. Active users remained relatively stable, peaking at 62.3K in late November and slightly decreasing to 56.6K by the end of December.
Productive - Habit Tracker showed varied revenue trends, with a high of $864 in the last week of October and ending the quarter at around $849. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 3.3K in the last week of December. Active users saw a notable increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching a peak of 10.3K in the final week of December.
Super Slime Simulator had minimal revenue, with a slight increase to $31 by the end of December. Downloads peaked at 2.5K in late October but declined to 1.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a downward trend, starting at 14.7K in late September and ending at 12.4K in late December.
