In Q1 2023, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps on the Android platform in Nigeria demonstrated varying performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower reveals insights into their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user statistics.
Fone Network AI, Earning, NFTs showed a steady decline in both weekly downloads and active users. Weekly downloads started at around 434 and dropped to 230 by the end of March. Active users decreased from 23.7K to 18.6K over the same period. Revenue also saw a slight decline, peaking at $344 in late December and falling to $220 by the end of March.
CryptoTab Farm: Digital Gold experienced an increase in weekly downloads and active users, particularly from early February. Downloads surged from 172 to 1.26K by mid-March, while active users grew from 133 to 890 in the same timeframe. Revenue, however, fluctuated, peaking at $210 in early January and closing the quarter at $153.
Cryptomania —Trading Simulator maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads ranging from 25.5K to 45.4K. Active users remained high, starting at 97.6K and reaching a peak of 107.2K in late February. Revenue exhibited an upward trend, starting at $132 and peaking at $211 in mid-March.
22BT Coin Mining saw a significant drop in weekly downloads, from 8.47K in early January to just 378 by the end of March. Revenue remained relatively low and stable, with a peak of $74 in early January and ending the quarter at $56.
AtlantisCEX had minimal activity in terms of downloads and revenue. Downloads were negligible, and revenue peaked at $36 in late February, ending the quarter at $35.
