In the first quarter of 2023, the top five dating apps on the Android platform in Tunisia showed varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.
HalaMe-Chat&meet real people from Halame Studio saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at $135 in mid-March. Weekly downloads reached their highest at 21.9K at the end of January, but experienced a steady decline towards the end of March, dropping to 8.1K. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 22.8K and decreasing to 14.7K by the end of the quarter.
Azar: Video Chat & Meet People by Hyperconnect LLC maintained a steady revenue flow, peaking at $211 in mid-March. Downloads fluctuated, hitting a high of 12.3K in mid-March and then falling to 7.8K the following week. Active users increased from 59.1K at the start of the quarter to 62.7K in mid-March, before stabilizing around 57.2K by the end of March.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date from Tinder LLC showed a gradual decline in revenue, starting at $653 and ending at $473. Downloads peaked at 6.4K in late January, but fell to 3.1K by the end of March. Active users started at 51.7K and saw a slight decline to 41.1K by the end of the quarter.
FadFad, published by Ziipin, did not generate any revenue during this period. Downloads fluctuated, reaching a peak of 4.6K in mid-February but then declining to 2.3K by the end of March. Active users showed a similar trend, starting at 4.9K and decreasing to 3.2K by the end of the quarter.
Muzz: Muslim Marriage & Social from Muzz experienced steady revenue, peaking at $33 at the end of February. Downloads reached a high of 4.4K in late February but dropped to 2.5K by the end of March. Active users increased from 25.6K to 29.9K by the end of February, and remained stable around 27.7K by the end of the quarter.
