In the first quarter of 2023, the top five lifestyle applications on the Android platform in the United States demonstrated diverse performance trends. Here’s a closer look at their weekly revenue, downloads, and active user statistics, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Life360: Live Location Sharing saw a steady growth in weekly revenue, starting from $419K in late December 2022 and peaking at approximately $467K by the end of March 2023. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 109K in mid-January and maintaining around 102K towards the end of March. The app also experienced consistent growth in weekly active users, reaching approximately 9.6M by the end of the quarter.
Design Space: DIY with Cricut experienced a varied revenue trend, starting at $182K and closing the quarter at $190K. Downloads saw a significant drop from 28K in late December to about 8K in late March. Active users remained relatively stable, starting the quarter at 215K and ending at approximately 167K.
Wyze - Make Your Home Smarter demonstrated a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting at $131K and surging to $234K by the end of March. Downloads also showed a fluctuating but overall positive trend, reaching a peak of 31K in early January and ending at 25K. Active users maintained stability, starting at 645K and ending the quarter at around 602K.
Tile: Making Things Findable had a mixed performance in terms of revenue, beginning at $62K in late December and peaking at $104K in late January before settling at $46K by the end of March. Downloads started strong at 47K but saw a decline to about 21K by late March. Active users showed resilience, starting at 895K and concluding the quarter at approximately 822K.
PsychicBook - Psychic Readings showed a steady increase in revenue, starting at $26K in late December and reaching around $42K by the end of March. Downloads remained low, peaking at 1.4K in mid-January and dropping to zero by late March.
