In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 music and audio apps on the Android platform in Venezuela exhibited diverse performance trends. Here's a detailed look at how each app fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Spotify: Music and Podcasts experienced a significant rise in weekly revenue, starting with $1 in early January and peaking at $72K in the week of March 20. Weekly downloads saw fluctuations, with a notable peak of 119.8K in the week of March 20, followed by a drop to 83.6K by the end of the quarter. Active users also showed a decline, from 5.2M in late December to 4.5M by the end of March.
Lark Player:Music Player & MP3 maintained a steady performance in weekly downloads, with a peak of 70.4K in mid-March. Active users showed a positive trend, increasing from 985.7K in late December to 1.2M by the end of March.
StarMaker: Sing Karaoke Songs had a mixed quarter. Weekly revenue saw a decline, starting at $189 and dropping to $35 by the end of March. Downloads peaked at 71.2K in late February but fell sharply to 1.9K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 206.2K in late February but dropping to 60.9K by the end of the quarter.
Download Music Mp3 saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 8.2K in early January and peaking at 33.2K in mid-March. Active users also showed a positive trend, increasing from 56.3K in late December to 105.2K by the end of March.
RYT - Music Player maintained consistent weekly downloads, with a slight peak at 22.6K in mid-March. Active users showed a steady increase, from 234.3K in early January to 270.8K by the end of March.
